Measurement Month is coming! September, 2016 #AMECMM

AMEC Measurement Month 5-30 Sep 2016 Measurement Month will be run as a series of special weeks in world geographies. Measurement Month is filled with free to attend events, webinars, executive discussions, podcasts, workshops and much more. Focuses on filling the gap between understanding the value of PR measurement and doing something about it. AMEC members will organise events in their own country as Measurement Month moves weekly across the globe #AMECMM

Measurement Month travelling around the globe Week 1 European Chapter Monday 5 th Sept to Fri 9 th September Week 2 Asia Pacific Chapter Monday 12th September through Friday 16th1 September Week 3 North American Chapter Monday 19th September through Friday 23 rd September Week 4 International Week Monday 26 th September through Friday 30 th September Activities are open to all regions so if one week wasn’t enough, they can take place in this week too. Cross country webinars, tweetchats, podcasts and other multi- country activities will feature this week.

Take part now – it’s easy! To attend events, check out the AMEC Measurement Month website, which contains a list of activities and links to book your place. To host a Measurement Month event follow these steps: Populate the template and send it to MeasurementMonth@amecorg.comMeasurementMonth@amecorg.com Make it clear that your event is part of AMEC’s Measurement Month and agree to the terms of the event Promote the event through your usual channels Take photographs at the event and send them to us Use the hashtag #AMECMM before and during the event, and blog about it afterwards if possible Evaluate the event afterwards and please share feedback with AMEC

Hints and tips of hosting an #AMECMM event Remember your event can be as large or small as you wish You can partner with another organisation to host a joint event You can involve clients to show case their comms evaluation work and invite prospective clients It doesn’t have to be a face to face session; webinars, tweetchats and podcasts are great ways to reach a wider audience and make the recording available to play back afterwards These events can be used as training and as a means of employee engagement within your offices – domestic and international You could invite vendors in, for example, social media specialists, online tool demonstrations or research/academic/trade organisations Link AMEC and its logo in your publicity
