PIV Trends PIV is our NUMBER ONE risk to our people Facilities who participate in the Health & Safety Process Portal have submitted over 2,000 PIV incidents in 2013 Significant incidents: –Marion – Foot Amputation –Flint – Finger Amputation

What is a Performance Standard? A Performance Standard is a set of requirements based on a specific common risk Ultimately may become a part a UAW-GM Safety System Provides the framework for the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) continuous improvement cycle The objective is to find cracks in the armor before someone gets hurt
