The mystery painting

Raphael Reasons he isn´t the mystery artist: In his paintings the perspective was made geometrically from a vanishing point, while in the other one is made giving the most distant objects a smaller size and a larger one to the closest Raphael's The Marriage of the Virgin (1504) He was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance. He was well known and admired for its clarity of form, ease of composition, and visual achievement.

Titian Reasons he isn´t the mystery artist: In 1500s artist only painted very famous people, usually Bible or classical Greek or Roman myths characters. And in her painting they were normal rural persons. Titian´s portrait of jesus Titian was a leading artist of the Italian Renaissance. His works includes portraits, landscape backgrounds, and mythological and religious subjects.

Van Gogh Reasons he isn´t the mystery artist: Van Gogh used lots of bright paint and painted quickly, some times he even didn´t mix colours. The mystery artist, in the other hand, painted with more detail and natural colours. Van Gogh's Landscape Near Auvers Van Gogh was a Post-Impressionist painter. He was an influence on 20th- century art. His output includes portraits, self portraits and landscapes. In his whole life he had only sold one painting and some drawings. After years of mental illness and anxiety he kill himself at the age of 37.

Gauguin Reasons he isn´t the mystery artist: Gaugin used warm and intense colours., while in the mystery painting they are shown more naturalistic colours, plus shadows and modelling, for a different look. Gauguin was a French Post-Impressionist artist who, as Van Gogh, was not well appreciated until after his dead. His work was influential to the French avant-garde and many modern artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse.

Picasso Reasons he isn´t the mystery artist: It´s obvious that the painting isn´t a Picasso. The paintings that he usually done are divided in different and flat pieces. While in our painting each object is a complete piece. Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright from the 20th century. He was Spanish but lived in France most of his life. He developed a lot of new artistic styles, but he's most famous for Cubism. Picasso's Dog and Cock

Millet Reasons he is the mystery artist: We can see the mystery painting was made by him because the subject is the same as other of his paintings, hardworking rural folk firmly outlined against a flat land and sky. Also, it uses the same style, colours and composition He was a French painter that can be categorized as part of the Realism art movement. Although he wasn´t a very well known painter, he influenced many artist, so he was an important figure in the history of art.
