Rough Drafts: 9/24-9/25 Your completed rough draft of your paper is due for 15 pts. toward your final grade. You need to make sure it is AT LEAST four front pages long written out. These drafts will be graded in class during a peer editing workshop. If you do not have your draft completed you lose both the points for the draft and for the peer editing. Please come to class prepared! Your draft must include: 1. A completed introduction with all 6 steps 2. Three body paragraphs with at least 2 citations per paragraph 3. One counter-argument in a body paragraph 4. Conclusion 5. Works Cited Page (5 resources: 3 internet and 2 non-internet sources required)

Rules for Rotations: Period 6 Guided: Option to have one reader at a time but it is a whisper (Read at least 6 pages) If you believe you have finished your guided book please complete a written activity based on assignment by me Independent: NO TALKING Comprehension Activity: NO TALKING If you need to ask for help, whisper (This is rare) Discussion: Talking at a low volume is required, but you must be discussing your assigned topics of discussion. When you discuss, in order to keep the volume low, you need to turn your chair around to whisper.

Research Find two new sources 1. Write: author, title of site, name of site, date you accessed (today) and the URL. Use your MLA notes to guide with the works cited page (15R) 2. Find at least 5 facts per site and write five opinions about those facts. Make sure your facts support your main argument! In text citation for internet if there is no author: (Title of site).
