Alternate Weekly Collections Results of Trial in Skye & Lochalsh:- Increased recycling rate and use of recycling points / recycling centre Reduced waste arisings Recognised difficulties of some commercial customers to operate without weekly residual collections

Commercial Collection Service Recycling element is a pre-requisite for receiving a service – this can either be as part of the collection service or through the “Recycling Permit” None of the prescribed recyclate can be put into the residual bin Advice and support available
