Where to go to get a kitten.  If you want to get a kitten and you only want the kitten for thanksgiving break you can get the kitten at appa animal shelter because there is a program there where you can pick a kitten to take home for a thanksgiving break and you have to email the pet person to schedule the day you come and get the kitten.  You can keep the kitten you took home for the thanksgiving break if the kitten had its surgery already because if the kitten has not had its surgery yet you will be during a pre adoption paper to sign and you have to have a parent sign the papers.  You can go to Austin Pets Alive to adopted a kitten.  Austin Pets Alive is one of the best places to adopted a kitten because there is lots of kittens to chose from there. How to adopt a kitten is  The way to adopt a kitten is to see if you like the kitten first.  The way to see if you like a kitten is to go play with it in the visiting cat room at Austin Animal Shelter.  The other way to see if you liked the kitten is to play with cat toys with it in.  You first have to pick the kitten up to put it in the visiting room.  Ones you have picked the kitten you wanted you go in the adoption room to talk with the adoption person about kitten you want.  After that you take it home in a cage.  You should bring your own cage if you have one.  But if you do not have your own cage do not worry because they have them at all animal shelters available. How you pick a cat friend for your kitten..  The way you get a cat friend for your kitten or 1 year old cat or 3 year old cat is to go to a.  Ones you want to get at the Austin Animal Shelter you have to look on line at the cat you want as a cat friend because you have to read about the cat you are going to get because if you do not read about the cat you are going to get your other cat as a friend.  The two cats could get a in a mean fight with hissing, running after the new cat,attacking it, rolling on it in a really mean way.  When you go to Tarry Town Animal Shelter to friend a cat friend you just have to go in the cages of different cats and see which cat you like because all the cats at Tarry Town Animal Shelter have 2 cats in there cages.  The cages with two cats in them are the cats you know get along with other cats and are great cat friends to your other cat because the two cats can walk by each other and get a long. If the cage has one cat in it you should make sure the cat gets along with other cats before you adopt it.  If you want to know if a cat gets along with other cats all you have to do is ask someone who works there and the person who works there will know if the cat you like gets along with other cats or not. What you will need an for adult cat  The things you will need for an adult cat is a big cat or a dog bed if your cat is really big.  You will also need a bigger kitty liter box.  You will need to give the adult cat lots of attention because the old cats are not as nice as young cats are. But not as energetic as a kitten would be.  The good age to adopt a cat is when the cat 3 years old because that age is when the cat still is playful and fun to. But a 3 year old cat is way less energetic and sleeps a of the day and the cat will let you pick them up and hold then.  The other good age to adopt a cat is when the cat is 12 years old because the cat is really easy to careful when they are 12 years old.  The Bad age to adopt a cat is when the cat is 2 month old because that is the age a cat is so energetic that it is hard to have someone take care of when you are gone some where on a trip because the cat is so young that they can not stop jumping around every where in the house. How to keep your cat from being scared of you.  If you want your cat not to be scared of you have to keep in your room in a cat bed with toys to play with.  After you keep your cat in a room you keep the door open to the room and let your cat go exploring around the house.  When you let your cat explore the house make sure you keep all the door closed so your cat with be safe when exploring the house.  Your can will meow a lot when exploring the house because It is scared.  If you have two cats make sure the other cat gets a long before you let the cat out of their room because if they do not get along well their will be a lot of cat hissing noises or make sure the other cat is a sleep when your cat is exploring the house.
