3
Product Our shirts will appeal to the Gonzaga community because: They celebrate the many years the school has been in existence (the phrase “Est. 1821” on the back) They help show how the Gonzaga community is one with “Gonzaga” on chest They are high-quality 100% cotton shirts that are more desirable than half cotton half polyester shirts and will not shrink in the wash

Market Research 200 surveys were distributed to the Gonzaga student body to discover which product would be most popular Of the product ideas listed, Livestrong type bands were most popular, however, the Gonzaga bookstore had already purchased these custom bands to sell. Long-sleeve T- shirts were the next popular product
7
Surveyed Products 52% 13% 35% Unable to do: A few days after survey, we learned the Gonzaga bookstore already ordered bands before our surveys went out Long sleeve T-shirts were second in popularity. They would also be cheaper to order than sweatbands.

Market Research 200 Additional surveys were then sent out to Gonzaga students in order to determine what color was most popular as well as what price would be most successful. We also asked what shirt sizes the students wore. Most students preferred white shirts with purple print and the most popular size of those surveyed was large. We discovered the optimal price was $15.
9
Market Research An online survey was created and the link went out to the Gonzaga Fathers’ Club email list (approximately 400 members). More information was gathered from this survey and those who were interested in purchasing the product left contact information (75 people as of 7 January have already pre-ordered).
