1. 1 LKCS students will be required to wear uniforms to school EACH day. Uniforms can be purchased wherever you choose. We suggest you begin purchasing uniforms early to ensure you have them when school begins. Jackets, Hoodies, Coats and exterior garments must be solid navy blue in order to be worn inside the school. Please keep this in mind when purchasing winter attire. The uniform policy will be strictly enforced and students who are not dressed accordingly will be sent home to change into the proper uniform. Shirts worn under polo shirts should not be seen. Jackets that are not navy or dark blue in color may not be worn in class. Continuous failure to adhere to the uniform policy will result in a hearing before the Board. All PE students must wear sweat pants or long knee shorts, t-shirts, socks and sneakers. 4. 4 APAA Dress Code Policy APAA students are prohibited from wearing the following types of clothing… Excessively soiled, torn or ragged Vulgar writing or graphics and/or sexual references Excessively revealing such as mini skirts, long skirts with high splits, short-shorts, tank tops, loose fitting and/or low cut halter tops, mesh shirts (unless a solid t-shirt is worn underneath), and tops which expose the midriff violates the dress code policy. Clothing with alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substance writing, graphics, and/or references violates the dress code policy. Hats, caps, and/or sunglasses violate the dress code policy. Any other apparel which the Director or staff member(s) determines to be unacceptable in relation to charter school standards All PE students must wear sweat pants or long knee shorts, t-shirts, socks and sneakers. All Dance students must wear the appropriate clothing as outlined by the teacher and be fully covered at all times. Violation of the school dress code policy is considered a discipline issue.
