Virtual Memory This takes place if your computer is running low on RAM. It stimulates more RAM when your computer reaches its maximum CPU and RAM usage.
3
More... We don’t know any more facts about virtual memory so here is a diagram of virtual memory.
4
What has changed in memory? A new form of RAM, called resistive RAM, allows computer users to input small chips to their computer so it saves space. It’s said you can store 1TB in a RRAM the size of a postage stamp.
5
What are these resistive RAM made out of? It’s said that scientists will use silicon oxide, like gold and platinum, to fill the gaps in the RRAM chips.
6
Why is RRAM better than RAM? The manufacturers are familiar with the use of the materials and they need less power to run. It lasts 100 times more than Random Access Memory and doesn’t overheat easily.
7
Moore’s Law Gordon E. Moore, founder of Intel, created this law in 1965. He said every 2 years the number of transistors in an integrated circuit will double and become more powerful.
