Today’s youth represent the single greatest opportunity facing the Church

Youth is the largest segment of our society 50% of the world is under age 25 33% is under age 15 Globalization has created a worldwide youth culture that is impacting everyone

Youth is the most reachable people group on earth. 6 out of 10 want to be close to God. Only 1/3 are active in a Christian youth group. At least 2/3 of all who come to Christ do so by age 18.

If we are serious about fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord... We cannot disregard one half of the world Especially the half who are most likely to come to Christ We need this millennial generation to reach the millennial generation

God Has Always Used Youth ……in the Bible Joseph received his call at 17 (Genesis 37-50) Samuel was dedicated as a boy (I Samuel 3-4:1) David was probably a teenager (I Samuel 16) Daniel was merely a "youth" (Dan 1) Jeremiah, unconfident due to his youthfulness (Jer 1) Mary may have been about 15 when Jesus was born Jesus conversed intelligently in the temple at age 12 Early Church leaders were mostly young

…..and in History Benjamin Franklin's first writings when he was 12 Beethoven's first compositions when he was 13 Einstein developed Theory of Relativity at 16 Joan of Arc led knights to victory in battle at age 17 John Calvin & David Brainerd were discipled as teens Billy Graham was converted as a teenager Most missionaries receive their ministry call as teens The Student Volunteer Movement was the largest missions movement in the past– 100,000 strong.
