Create a Gmail account (firstname.lastname@gmail.com)firstname.lastname@gmail.com  This is a good “business” account and makes all of your college info go to one place Create a Universal user name (can be your email?)  Should be something easy to remember Create a Universal Password (Lastname2016!)  Notice that this is a strong password! Capital letter, numbers, special character. Use these on all applications and scholarships  If you consistently use the same information you wont forget what it is You want your parents to help? Give them this information  You are not protecting Fort Knox or Government secrets. If you want help you should share this with your parents so they can help you watch this email account.

NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE LIST  Most Scholarships are either web based (you can fill them out online) or you can save them as a PDF in Adobe Acrobat  Create accounts for everything web based (keeping notes on your printed list)  Save all PDF Scholarship applications in a file on your computer specifically for scholarships (you will want to let your parents know where this is)
