2. I was born and raised down South, in New Orleans, Louisiana

3. Mother and Educator I'm a mother of two wonderful children ages 9 and 15. I graduated from Southern University of New Orleans, with a BA in Child Development and Family Studies. I am currently in graduate school working on my masters in Child Development. I work at an elementary school that’s located in Jefferson Parish. I’ve been working at the same elementary school for the past 11 years.

4. My K-12 Experience My K-12 experience was not easy. Although I managed to pass all my classes, I struggled with some personal issues that affected me throughout school. The person I remember from high school is my 11 th grade teacher Mrs. Wofford. This teacher helped my change my attitude and the person I was becoming. She had an open door policy, which allowed me to enter her classroom whenever I needed someone to talk to. She was always there for me.

5. Daycare & Non-Profit Organization My work objectives are to open up my own day care. Children are so precious and innocent, it gives me joy to be apart of their lives. I also want to have my own non-profit organization helping at risk youth overcome their troubled lives.
