2 WHO WE ARE Spark Ventures exists to form partnerships with high-impact organizations around the world that help vulnerable children achieve their potential. Achieved when basic needs are met and opportunities for personal growth and economic sustainability are provided Those living in poverty, lacking nutrition, medicine, proper education and basic opportunities for growth and encouragement in life. Refers to those non-profit and non-governmental organizations on the front lines of local child advocacy and assistance, showing measurable outcomes from their work

7 HOW WE DO IT Partner Development Spark comes alongside of local organizations and strengthens and expands their impact through: – training and development – financial and volunteer resources – implementing sustainable models of growth Sponsorship Children being served through Spark Ventures can be sponsored for less than $1 a day which provides: – food – education – basic medical care Transformation Trips Gives the opportunity to visit our partners and experience their harsh realities and heroic humanitarian efforts first hand.

11 PARTNERSHIP MODEL We take an approach of deep humility and build strong relationships by coming alongside organizations already addressing the needs of children in their community We then bring significant resources and value to our partner organizations, by fostering effective leadership and management skills that empower partner organizations’ local and indigenous leaders We care about the communities that the children we serve live in as we believe strong and healthy communities translate to strong and healthy children – the goal of Spark Ventures.

12 CURRENT PARTNERSHIP Hope Fellowship Ministries officially began operations in 2005 in Ndola, Zambia as a small non-governmental organization Hope helps vulnerable children through two main avenues: – Hope House Orphanage 24-hour care facility House parents and a social worker to monitor the health and development of each child 15 children in the program – Hope Community School (1 st – 7 th Grade) Children who cannot afford the cost of government or private schooling come to Hope to receive a quality education that they can afford. Currently, Roughly 200 children in the program

13 CURRENT PARTNERSHIP Results of Spark/Hope Partnership: Over $100,000 for operations and expansion of Hope Ministries Attendance at Hope Community School doubling from 100 to 200 Year-round meal program feeding all 200+ students at school Sponsorship program with 100 orphanage & school children sponsored 5 visits from Spark Board members for training and leadership development 4 Transformation Trips focused on medical aid, the reading program and sponsorship research

14 OUR VISION Spark Ventures is committed to establishing strong partnerships that serve as models for effectively addressing the needs of vulnerable children and creating healthy, sustainable and supportive communities in priority global markets. It is our vision to be helping vulnerable children in four continents within 10 years.
