From south to north Great Britain stretches for over 900 km and from east to west in the widest part only for about 500 km.

The Ireland is made up of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom is made up of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales and doesn't include Northern Ireland.
