Curriculum Everyday Math Used in addition to Frog Street or as a supplemental resource. Developed by The University of Chicago, School Mathematics Project, the Everyday Mathematics spiral curriculum continually reinforces abstract math concepts through concrete real-world applications.

Conscious Discipline Conscious Discipline is a research-based comprehensive self-regulation program that combines social and emotional learning with discipline and guidance. Built on a foundation of current brain research, the School Family is constructed from safety, connection and problem-solving.

Attendance Regular attendance is expected. Children with frequent absences will be withdrawn and their spot offered to a child on the waiting list. Families will be notified should concern over absences arise.

Clothing Children should be dressed appropriately for the weather and a variety of school activities. Clothing should allow children to use the restroom independently. An extra set of clothing is requested in the event of an accident or spill.

Illness & Medication Parents will be contacted immediately should a student become ill. Students may return to school when they have been symptom free for a 24 hour period without medication. Only medications prescribed by a physician can be administered at school.

Full Day Lunch Can purchase from school or bring from home. Quiet Time Everyday following lunch/recess students will have quiet time. Children will need a BODY-SIZED pillow case to cover the school-issued nap mat. Child can also bring blanket or animal to snuggle.
