2.  Jeff Kinney  Works as a full time writer and also designed video games. He first started with a comic strip called Igdoof. He has a kids friendly website called Poptropica. He is know by many children all over the world.

3.  Story starts with Greg not being born yet. His mother had him listen to music to make him smarter. He decided to be born early when he heard his parents “smooching” and could not stand it. That is why he was born three weeks early ! 

4.  He also as a baby has to illegally sleep in the top dresser drawer. He also talk about having all of his clothes being hand-me-downs from Roderick.

5.  He next goes to Pre-Kindergarten. His mom moves him to Kindergarten and he gets kicked out for telling the other kids the wrong answers.  The school is having a Valentines Day Dance. Greg wants to ask Abigail Brown. Her boyfriend is going out of town and can’t go with her. She agrees to go with Greg and Rowley as a group.

6.  The dance has senior citizens at the gym. They say they have the gym. Both groups agree to split the gym.  At the dance Abby’s boyfriend shows up with another girl and she is upset. Greg and everyone try to make her feel better.

7.  Greg then thinks he sees that Abby has chicken pox but it is a pimple. Abby is not happy with Greg.

8.  The story ends by His uncle winning 40,000 and he paid his dad back and moved out. Greg ends up also watching Rowley walk Abby to the door and his plan failed.  Greg also gets Chicken Pox and relaxes in the tub which reminds him of being back in his mom’s belly.

9.  Mykah Voland Says…….this is a great book! It is funny, interesting and serious at times! Almost as fun as surfing!

10.  Nothing in the books works out the way Greg wants. Everything seems to backfire. The story ends with him relaxing in the tub.
