About the club The “Investment Club” idea came from a group of Bocconi students from the Master of Science in Finance interested in applying their knowledge to practical cases The association was founded during the first semester of 2010 and received the University’s official approval in April 2011 The association is organized in two divisions: Markets and Corporate Finance The BSIC is promoting activities that are open to all Bocconi students and also weekly activities aimed at the club’s members

Market Making Competition (Nov-13) Initial screening of participants via CV 30 students selected and divided into 15 teams (each team was composed by an analyst and a trader) Each team was asked to be market maker of Italian Govt. Bonds Hints and market shocks changed the yield curve of Bonds

Twitter Valuation (Oct-13) Special Report issued before the IPO Valuation based on DCF and market researches Our valuation was consistent with that made for the IPO Roadshow

Market Recap (Oct-13) Weekly Macro view on US, Europe and Emerging Markets Data reports, analysis and comments Correlated trade ideas Brief report containing data, charts of the week and top stories

Weekly e-mails (Oct-12) Since early October 2012 the BSIC members started circulating a weekly e-mail to members of our mailing list. Since February 2013, articles are published on our website. Corporate Finance members select “Deals of the week” which they found the most interesting and comment on the deal rationale, valuation, and market reaction to the transactions Markets members select trade ideas for the week which they assess on the basis of the market’s performance
