Case Study Summary Program interventions designed to build resilience directly impact inter-community relations, in their targeting, design and approach A negative impact on inter-community relationships doesn’t just exacerbate “conflict.” It can nullify the program’s impact. Resilience interventions must be designed around social, economic and environmental dependencies at a systems-level. The same intervention can have a positive or negative impact on community relationships, depending on how it is approached and delivered on the ground.
