About me. I am Mohd Taufiq Md. Thakib. A teacher from Bandar Penawar, Johor, Malaysia. I am teaching in SK. Bandar Penawar 2, Johor. A school located at the outskirt of southern Peninsular of Malaysia. I am considering myself as an energetic and dedicated teacher. I always loves to explore on new method in delivering the content to my students. I love to create an active atmosphere in my classroom and I like my students to participate in my lesson. I am a change maker in my classroom and community. I am an innovator and I really want to be the greatest teacher ever for my students. I always motivate my students to use ICT in their learning process and for sure, there are lots of Microsoft Products have been incorporated into my daily lesson practise such as Microsoft Words, One Notes, Publisher, One Drive and the most that I used is the Microsoft PowerPoints. By participating in the MIE Expert Program, I am sure my lesson will be much more effective and will deliver bigger impact to my students and community. Now, it is no longer locally teaching, but it will be focussed more on global and I am sure that my students will enjoy every single moment interacting with me.

Background Bandar Penawar experienced water shortage and it become worst day by day. Sadly, there is water wastage happening among the school community and it needed immediate attention.

Problems The school community do not aware about the important of using water wisely. Too much water wastage happening in school.

Lesson 1 Introduction of the problems. Definition and sentence construction. Lesson 2 Introduction to Microsoft Word. Creating the observation form. Lesson 3 Conducting observation within community. Gathering data. Lesson 4 Introduction to Microsoft Excel. Build a spreadsheet and transfer the data. Lesson 5 Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint. Build a presentation. Search for images and sounds from The Internet. Lesson 6 Conduct a survey Analyse the data and present it creatively. Lesson 7 Designing phase. Introduction to Microsoft Publisher. Produce printed product related to the matter Submit it to the school administrators. Lesson 8 Presentation thru an exhibition.

Lesson 1 Exposing the vocabulary to the pupils using picture stimulus. Hunt for definition and synonym thru The Internet. Use the words to describe the picture and build simple sentences.

Lesson 2 Experience sharing about water shortage. Peer-sharing. Group work – preparing the schedule, roles and how to conduct the observation in the school. Introduce the Microsoft Words. Build the observation sheet. Group presentation and choose the best observation form, for the next task.
