Agency Goal To provide a better, more efficient way to manage the APHIS agreements inventory.

ACMS Objectives To provide accurate reporting to Congress, the Office of Management and Budget, & other entities. – House/Senate Q&A’s – Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance – National Science Foundation – Program staffs (i.e. Civil Rights, Review and Analysis Branch, program units, etc.)

To ensure APHIS meets the requirements as described in the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA). ACMS Objectives (cont)

FFATA Reporting Importance of supplemental sheet Common errors reported back to APHIS - Congressional District - Zip + 4

New Enhancement – Cooperative Agreements, Grants, & Indemnities Address validation enhancement to ensure the accuracy of the address that is transmitted for FFATA and other reports. Addresses validated using 3 validation services -USPS -Tele Atlas -Clean Address

Agreement Inventory Module Future Improvements Redesign to incorporate additional FFATA requirement – date final signature. Screen redesign to incorporate the date of the “Decision Memorandum” approval.

Agreement Inventory- Pending Agreements – NEW Requirements Enter all planned agreements into the inventory. Select the agreement as pending. DO NOT VALIDATE ADDRESSES IN PENDING Create Ledger (responsibility to be determined by Program)
