14 NPB Membership All Navy SYSCOMs or their designated representatives USFF Headquarters, United States Marine Corps (HQ USMC) NAVAIR Aircraft Division Lakehurst NSWC Indian Head Division PHST Center Earle NAVICP Philadelphia is the designated representative for both NAVSUP and NAVAIR. NAVICP Code 077 will chair the board. Representation from other Government agencies and departments is invited to participate in meetings as appropriate. Special guests from industry and government may be invited to attend the meetings in an advisory capacity

17 Military Packaging Training Working Group (MPTWG) Military Packaging Professional (MPP) – 3 Levels of Certification – Level I – Target Level for Packers (70% of community) – Qualification: PACK 1A & 1B, Wood Packaging Cert – Two years of Mil Pack experience – Level II – Target Level for Packaging Specialists (20%) – Qualifications: all Level I req’ts plus PACK 2A and 2B, DAU CLL-013 – Five years Mil Pack experience – Level III – Target Level for Packaging Engineers (5%) – Qualifications: all requirements for Levels I and II, plus courses provided by academia (TBD)

23 DPPG Interest SDRs at DDs: no pkg. receipt inspection at DD for source inspected materiel SDRs: $300 threshold Wood Packaging Material (WPM): – DOD 4140.01-R will convert to DOD 4140.01M awaiting signature – ISPM 15 being considered for CONUS- Public Hearings held – DoD Pest Free stamp OK for shipboard use – More ISPM 15 signatory countries- fewer now accept DoD Pest Free stamp – USDA testing efficacy of 56° C. @ 30 min.
