2.  Step 1 – Create Homework Assignment  Step 2 - Students Submit Homework Assignments  Step 3 - Teacher Reviews Homework Assignments Homework Drop Box on eChalk

3.  Choose My Classes on left Create Homework Assignment (slide 1 of 5)

4.  Choose your class Create Homework Assignment (slide 2 of 5)

5.  Hit the “Plus Sign” in Events to create a new event Create Homework Assignment (slide 3 of 5)

6.  Mark your Event Type as Homework.  Give your assignment an Event Title Create Homework Assignment (slide 4 of 5)

7.  ** Before hitting Save Event, Check the box that allows for Homework Drop Box Submission.  Hit Save Event Create Homework Assignment (slide 5 of 5)

8.  After the student completes the assignment …  Student Logs into eChalk  Note there is an assignment with a Homework Drop Box on the calendar Submit Homework Assignment (slide 1 of 5)

9.  Click on Assignment Title in calendar  On new screen, it says assignment is Not Submitted.  Click on “Submit Your Homework” Submit Homework Assignment (slide 2 of 5)

10.  Student can submit homework from a file from the computer or from a file he/she has put in the digital locker.  Student can also send a comment to teacher. Submit Homework Assignment (slide 3 of 5)

11.  After choosing the file and writing a comment if the student chooses to do so, click on Submit Submit Homework Assignment (slide 4 of 5)

12.  After submitting, it will say the assignment has been submitted and give the student a confirmation number. The student CAN submit the assignment again if he/she chooses. Submit Homework Assignment (slide 5 of 5)

13.  Go to your Class  Click on your assignment in Events Teacher Homework Review (slide 1 of 3)

14.  Click on View Submissions Teacher Homework Review (slide 2 of 3)

15.  For each student that submitted a file, you can click “Submitted” to download the file to your computer and/or view any comments they may have posted. Teacher Homework Review (slide 3 of 3)
