CHARACTER There are multiple characters in the image, however, there are only two characters emphasized greatly.

CHARACTER There are multiple characters in the image, however, there are only two characters emphasized greatly. The first character is a baby, which appears to be holding onto something.

CHARACTER There are multiple characters in the image, however, there are only two characters emphasized greatly. The first character is a baby, which appears to be holding onto something. A man, who is walking, we cannot see his eyes, so we do not know what he is looking at directly because the representation provided in the photograph is vague

CHARACTER There are people in the back, they are far away from the photographer. It is a place where light is dominant, so we can infer that they are innocent, and have nothing to do with the main idea of the photograph.

CHARACTER: BABY The baby has white hair, which connects to how our generation is maturing too rapidly. We are rushing out of our childhood and face problems too early.

CHARACTER: BABY The baby has white hair, which connects to how our generation is maturing too rapidly. We are rushing out of our childhood and face problems too early. Additionally, the white hair is missing on the his other ear. Meaning that the maturity is two-sided, and this side of him is still adolescent and immature. Because children are young and uneducated, it is hard for them to develop a sense of understanding at such a young age.

CHARACTER: BABY The child holds onto a person, we can assume that she is his mother. The child looks back to us, the audience in fear, while he is carried towards the larger crowd.

CHARACTER: MAN The man is shown to be walking away from the only dominant light source. He is dressed in black and white, but black covers his white shirt. A metaphor for saying evil overpowers good. He walks away from the light, meaning he does not want to be part of it. Making him represent evil.

CHARACTER: MAN Even though we cannot see his eyes, we can see that his head is tilting up, forward, meaning he is looking away. He is also walking the opposite direction, allowing us to assume that he is in some way, connected to the baby and person.

CHARACTER: MAN Even though we cannot see his eyes, we can see that his head is tilting up, forward, meaning he is looking away. He is also walking the opposite direction, allowing us to assume that he is in some way, connected to the baby and person. With this information, we can tell that the man is being ignorant, and is walking away from the baby, who is suffering in fear.

COLOR The colors in the picture are black and white. Black and white photos usually bring forth dark emotions, including depression or loss. Photographers also use black and white filters to create a tone of seriousness and to provide more contrast when having un-vivid photos. Photographers tend to use black and white when there is not much color involved within the photograph.

LIGHT Light is dominant in the back of the photo, and the baby and the person holding the baby is walking towards it, whereas the man in the shades is walking away from it. This is significant because shades are meant to cover light, and he is walking away from it. So in a sense, he is hiding from the light. We can see a clear representation between good (the baby) and evil (the man).

ANGLE The angle of the photograph is about the same perspective as a person passing by on the streets, we are allowed to see a further distance rather than just two figures. This is significant because it allows us to see beyond the two figures, it allows us to see the good, or light in the photo, which allows us to see the contrast between light and darkness.

PROPORTION Take a look at the man’s head.

PROPORTION Take a look at the man’s head. Now look at the baby’s head, it’s larger. This shows how our generation has such a vast amount of resources but we’re still unsatisfied and hard- headed.

PLACEMENT There are cracks in between the two people, separating the two generations, and giving two different perspectives.

SETTING Because this is street photography, the setting is in the streets. This is significant because it gives us, the audience, an idea on the daily happenings in life on the streets. Because it is a street, we are given the ability to see the ground, walls, and people.

 Character: There are multiple characters in the image, however, there are only two characters emphasized greatly. The first character is a baby, which appears to be holding onto something. A man, who is walking, we cannot see his eyes, so we do not know what he is looking at directly because the representation provided in the photograph is vague. There are people in the back, they are far away from the photographer. Because the distance is far, this means that they are not significant or important, They are innocent, and have nothing to do with the main idea of the photograph. The baby has white hair, which connects to how our generation is maturing too rapidly. The child holds onto an object, it looks like an arm, could be mother. Even though we cannot see his eyes, we can see that his head is tilting up, forward, meaning he is looking away. With this information, we can tell that the man is being ignorant, and is walking away from the baby, who is suffering in fear.  Color: The colors in the picture are black and white. Photographers also use black and white filters to create a tone of seriousness and to provide more contrast when having un-vivid photos. Photographers tend to use black and white when there is not much color involved within the photograph.  Light: Light is mostly coming from the back, and the man is wearing shades, to hide from the light.  Angle: The angle of the photograph is about the same perspective as a person passing by on the streets, we are allowed to see a further distance rather than just two figures. This is significant because it allows us to see beyond the two figures, it allows us to see the good, or light in the photo, which allows us to see the contrast between light and darkness..  Proportion: The man’s head in the photograph is smaller than the baby’s head. It shows that our generation has many resources but we are still unsatisfied, hard-headed, and stubborn.  Placement: There are cracks in between the two people, separating the two generations, and giving two different perspectives.  Setting: Because this is street photography, the setting is in the streets.
