3 3 Update on RCR 404 Permitting 404 Permit Issuance is Imminent Completed Cumulative Impact Study in October 2014 In Mid April Corps requested supplemental model runs  Provided in Late April In early May Corps also requested feedback on County water conservation and unaccounted for water program performance  Provided in Early May Anticipate Mobile Corp Completion in the near term and issuance by Savannah in early summer

4 4 Update on RCR 404 Permitting Received Notification of “Threatened” Listing of Northern Long Eared Bat Prepared Assessment Plan  Approved by US Fish and Wildlife Service Conducted bat monitoring assessment May 18 th - May 24 th No listed Indiana or Northern Long Eared bats were found so clearing timeline for Reservoir and Pipeline will not be impacted

5 5 Update Design Process Reservoir Currently at the 90% Design Phase Plan to Submit to EPD for Permitting in June 90 day review process Anticipate Bidding in late Fall Construction to start February 2016

6 6 Update Design Process Water Treatment Plant and Pump Stations Currently Working on the 60% Design Milestone (Will be issued in July) Completed pilot testing with favorable results Plan to reach 100% completion in January 2016 Anticipate Bidding in February 2016 Construction to start April 2016

7 7 Update Design Process Raw Water Pipeline Had initial kickoff meeting with Design Build Team Awaiting on 404 Permit to begin design process Met with City of Cartersville to discuss pipeline easement acquisition

8 8 Update Design Process Water Distribution System Improvements Finalized scope of improvements New 36” pipeline and pump station Will prepare design RFP that will advertise for engineer selection in July Design will be complete in summer 2016 Anticipate Construction in late summer 2016

9 9 Project Work Fair for Local Companies Planning to take place in August Will be an opportunity for local companies to learn about program opportunities Allow local suppliers to connect and offer services to larger contractors that will be pursuing work Will review all program components (reservoir, pump stations, treatment plant, and pipeline projects)

10 10 Update on Financial Planning GEFA Funding Updates Finalized Loan Revision – Change to favorably delay initiation of payback until water production Finalized MOU for $15 Million of State Direct Investment (SDI) Financial Planning Developing Financial Plan  Finalizing overall program cost  Considering non-program CIP requirements  Evaluating needed funding  Plan Financial Model update by Raftelis in June

11 11 Update on Public Outreach Initiated RCR Stakeholder Communication Implementation Team Began planning outreach activities Major outreach will begin following issuance of 404 Permit Provided Briefing to Cities Hiram, Cartersville, Braswell, and Emerson Outreach at Airshow Program Website – RCRWater.com Increasing Website Activity
