Defendant Is Arrested Judge Sets Bail Defendant Contacts Family or an agent Family Contacts A Bondsman All Arraignments Are Made for Bonding Out Bond Premiums Are Set By The State Of Arkansas Which Is Set At 10% Of The Bail + $70.00 state and local fees. Premium Payment Arraignments Are Made Between The Agent And Family The Bond Is Written And The Defendant Is Released From Jail

When the Defendant Makes his/Her Court Date: Pleading Guilty The Judge will assess all fines, and/or Probation Payments and the bond is then exonerated. Pleading Not Guilty The Judge will Stop all Discussions about the case, and assign an attorney. If the Defendant can’t afford one, and set a trial date..bond is not exonerated Defendant goes to trial. If the defendant is proven innocent, the bond is exonerated. If proven guilty, the jude will sentence, and the bond is exonerated

Missing Court Date: If the defendant misses the court date, the Judge will charge him/her with a failure to appear (FTA). At that time the Retrieving Agent will start to track down the Defendant to surrender him/her to appropriate jail. Wrong Retrieving AgentCorrect Retrieving Agent

Once the defendant is captured He/She will be brought back to the jail and surrendered, at that time the agent and the co-signers of the bond will be off the bond, and the original bail amount will be added to The new fines. If the defendant cannot be found, then the surety Company will pay to the court the bail amount. At that time the surety company and agent will start Proceedings to collect the bail amount from the co-signers If the defendant cannot be found
