How to email students in your class using Owl Link Updated 05-19-2010

At the Owl Link Main Menu click on Faculty & Staff.

Click on Class Roster.

To select a specific term, select a term from the drop down list.

Click on a class. Click Submit to continue.

Click on E-mail these Students.

Click on the button next to E-Mail All Students Listed to send message to all students on the list. Click Submit to Continue.

Or to send a message to selected students, click on the button next to E-Mail Only Selected Students. Check the boxes next to the students to be emailed. Click Submit to continue.

To include other recipients, select an email action from the drop down list and enter an email address, e.g., department chair or another faculty member.

In the subject box, type the subject of the email. In the E-mail Text box, type the E-Mail message. Click on the check box to the left of the Copy (CC) Yourself box to send yourself a copy of the e-mail. Click Submit to send the E-mail.

Click OK to return to the main menu.
