Development purpose of the project Promote educational opportunities of vulnerable people - Improve their access and participation in society - Promote their social contacts in joint activities Research and develop inclusive teaching and education and improve participation in education School for All Make development work in schools and in teacher training

Overall objective Improve access to and participation in education for persons considered as vulnerable by lowering barriers creating multi-cultural learning environments to contribute cooperation between cultural and educational organizations of the North Calotte and North-West Russia implement support mechanisms for joint research, education and development of inclusive education

Specific objective Develop inclusion in schools and teacher education school-based development work and research How to promote this objective? - by developing training for practicing teachers and providing future teachers with essential competences for inclusive education - establish resource center in Russia Arkhangelsk

Target groups Children with disabilities who are currently out of any educational provision Children who are currently at risk due to socio-economical deprivation Immigrants Families and parents of children with disabilities and children at risk Juvenile offenders, Romani population, other groups at risk Teachers and other education staff in different educational institutions Teacher educators and student teachers at pedagogical universities Educational officials at different levels Final beneficiaries: those who will benefit from the project in the long term at the level of the society or sector at large

Main outputs 1. Knowledge of and experience in inclusive education are shared and exchanged 2. Co-operation in inclusive education research is increased by cross-border activities 3. Jointly developed educational packages are developed to combat all forms of discrimination 4. Inclusive education is promoted in teacher education as a means of tackling educational disadvantage particularly among young people 5. The capacity of teacher education in relation to inclusive education is increased and sustained in the participating institutions. A Resource Centre for Inclusive Education is established in Arkhangelsk Region
