MARKET UPDATE INCREASE IN ACCEPTED OFFERS: CLASS OF 2011 For the MBA Class of 2011, as of September 30, 96% of students seeking employment have a job offer (compared to 86% at this time in 2010 and 79% in 2009). For the Undergrad Class of 2011, 89% are employed (compared to 83% in 2010 and 2009). An additional 6% are continuing their education. INDUSTRY TRENDS Continued uncertainty in Financial Services, Real Estate, Automotive. Growth areas include Technology, Consulting and Entrepreneurial careers. ALUMNI CAREER TRENDS > in proactive job searches (compared to 2010 and 2009). > number of career re-launchers and enterprise job searches. Continued hiring scrutiny and emphasis on networking continues to result in a more successful job search.
