3 Conjugations and meanings Voy= I go I am going Vamos= We go We are going Vas= You go You are going Vais = You all go (SPAIN) Va= He, she, you (f) go He, she, you are going Van= You all go You all are going They go, they are going

4 Use “ir” with the word “a” (ir + a = to go to) to say that someone is going to a specific place. Voy a la cafetería. I go to the cafeteria. I am going to the cafeteria. Los chicos van a la clase. The boys go to the class. The boys are going to the class.

5 When “a” (to) is followed by the word “el” (the), we combine the two to form the contraction, “al” (to the) Vas a el gimnasio. = Vas al gimnasio Vas al gimnasio. You go to the gym. Usted va a el centro comercial. = Usted va al centro comercial. Usted va al centro comerical. You go to the mall.
