2 English Literature: 20 th May AM Section A: 30 Marks = 60 mins Find the page with the Stone Cold questions The question is split into 3 parts: a, b, and c. Spend 5 mins reading the extract Question a. read extract and answer the question. 10 Marks = 20 mins Choose either question b. or c. and answer the question. It will be based on the novel as a whole 20 Marks = 30 mins Spend 5 mins going through your answer Don’t forget to Pee!

5 Paper 1: 3 rd June AM Section A: 40 Marks = 50 mins 5 mins reading of prose passage from literary heritage 4 questions = 10 marks each = 10 mins writing each answer (Check this = could be 5 questions Eg: A1=5 marks, A2=5marks, A3=10 marks, A4=10marks, A5=10marks) Question A4 will usually be the hardest, so make sure you have enough time to answer this well 5 mins to read through your answer Don’t forget to Pee!

6 Paper 1: 3 rd June AM Section B: B1 = 20 marks = 35 mins Writing to inform/explain/describe Eg:Imagine you are at a train station/fun fair/concert etc… 5 mins planning 25 mins writing 5 mins reading through

7 Paper 1: 3 rd June AM Section B: B2 = 20 marks = 35 mins Writing to explore/imagine/entertain Eg: You are given a title/first line/idea for a story and you must write it 5 mins planning 25 mins writing 5 mins reading through

8 Paper 2: 5 th June PM Section A: 40 Marks = 50 mins 5 mins reading and comparing non-fiction and media texts 4 questions= 10 marks each= 10 mins writing each answer (Check this = could be 5 questions Eg: A1=5 marks, A2=5marks, A3=10 marks, A4=10marks, A5=10marks) MAKE SURE YOU ARE RESPONDING TO THE CORRECT TEXT: you will be given 2!
