Compliance Certification To gain or maintain accreditation with the Commission on Colleges, an institution must comply with the standards contained in the Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement and with the policies and procedures of the Commission on Colleges. What is it????

3. So….. What is It? 89 requirements that we are required to provide a narrative with documentation to prove that we meet each one. The narratives range from two paragraphs to ten pages. Requirements cover such things as governance, academic assessment, physical and financial resources, student services, etc.

4. There’s More Focus is on the fact that we prove through assessment that our students are learning what we say they are. That CVCC provides a system of continuous improvement to assist our students in obtaining the desired learning outcomes. Services and delivery is the equivalent across all modalities and locations.

7. How Do You Help?? Supply the committee members with any information that they request in a timely manner. Offer to do anything that you can to help make their regular job easier. Be informed about the process. Ask your supervisor what your role is.
