2. Author Markus Zusak
Markus Zusak was born in 1975 in Sydney, Australia. He has wrote four other books and the book thief. He spent about seven and a half years writing the book in forty different languages.

5. Liesel vs Self
Liesel in the story is always surrounded by death (the narrator). It surrounds her because in the beginning of the story her brother dies.

6. Liesel’s Family
Liesel’s family is made up of her and her foster parents. Liesel Meminger’s can’t take care of her and her brother. On the way to meet there foster parents Liesel’s younger brother dies and they hold a funeral for them. So Liesel has now foster parents named Rosa and Hans Huberman.

7. A Jewish person
Liesel and Max become great friends until Max gets very sick. Liesel gives him a present which she thinks is a good story.

8. Rules for a Jewish person
To the right is a picture of the rules that the Jews had to follow when they were outside. In my opinion, these are very strict rules that you have to follow.

9. Clothes
These are pictures of what a German looked like when they were in the army. Also, the other picture is a picture of how people could tell if you were Jewish by looking at your hair color, your eye color, and how big your nose is.

10. House
These are pictures of what a Jews house would look like. This is a Mezuzah that is something a Jew would put on there door that has real bible verses on it. Also, this is a picture of how small a bedroom for a Jew is.
