Types of Grants Grants relevant to ATRCs Fixed Amount Award (FAA) In-Kind Grant - Non-Cash Grants (IKG/NCG) 4

Fixed amount award (FAA) Grants for specific program elements for which price is agreed upon in advance and payable based on deliverables Fixed Amount for each deliverable remains the same regardless of amount spent Estimate actual cost determined and negotiated. These constitute the fixed price and payment schedule included in agreement. 5

Fixed amount award (FAA) Documentation required for payment against a deliverable is clearly laid out in the grant agreement Payment will be based on submission of deliverable approved by Trade Hub. 6

In-kind grant / Non-cash grants No disbursements are made directly to ATRC Materials, goods, and/or services are purchased directly by Trade hub and provided as in-kind assistance to ATRC Title to property vests with the ATRC upon successful completion of the grant ATRC is required to use and conserve property for the purposes specified in the grant Procurement done in compliance with USAID regulations. 7

Implementation of FAA Grant ATRC conducts activities as per agreement and informs Trade Hub of upcoming activities ATRC submits deliverables and documentation required for payment using voucher form provided Deliverables are reviewed and approved by Trade Hub. Trade Hub to follow closely activities implemented by ATRC Disbursements are made upon approval of the deliverables Close monitoring of actual costs are not necessary. 8

Implementation of FAA Grant During implementation ATRC will follow the Trade Hub branding & marking plan ATRC must submit Indicator table as per grant agreement ATRC must obtain Trade Hub approval for changes in: Activities Fixed Amount of the Grant Deliverables agreed upon End date of agreement 9

Amendment of FAA Grant Agreements Deliverables may be amended to revise the end date, deliverables of the grant Amended deliverables must remain compatible with the original purpose of the FAA. 10

Cost Share Grantee provides voluntary cost share contributions in cash or in-kind. Contributions must meet following criteria & adhere to USAID regulation: Verifiable from the grantee’s records Not included as contributions for any other U.S. Government- funded project or program Necessary and reasonable for proper and efficient accomplishment of project objectives. 11
