4 About Ms. Freeman Graduated for California State University of Northridge in 2010 I have been teaching for Palmdale School District for two years I am very passionate about my students and love to keep them involved in the lesson by introducing different activates with each lesson

5 Classroom Setup Students work at group tables The classroom is set up so I can constantly move around the room to keep interest levels for the entire lesson

9 Fundraisers - Candy Sales -Carwash - Donations What does your child need from you? To get them to as many fundraisers as possible so they will be able to go. Also parents can and we need them to volunteer to go to these events.

13 Our Trip When – January 25, 2010 How are we getting there – We will leave from school at 9am and take school transportation to the Mission Each student must bring a lunch We will return to school at normal school time

14 How Can You Help at Home? Parent involvement is very important in your child’s education. Please be aware that there is something that your child should be every night at home. Forth graders should be able to read for fourty- five min straight so please encore your child to read every night. Make it a family reading time each night at home Please keep me informed about any changing things that happen at home, or that you notice about your child that you feel I should know about.

15 My Goal To You and My Students I will show up to everyday with a full day of lessons set up to challenge each student in many different ways. I plan to push my students to be able to think outside of the box. I am going to keep in contact with my students parents each week my communicating through weekly messages.

16 How to Keep In Contact With Me Ms. Freeman Conference Time Fifteen minutes before school and a half an hour after school. If you would like to set up a meeting please just call or send a note with your child. Phone Number to classroom 661-947-5555 but please remember that during school hours I am teaching and can’t talk away time from learning Email k.freeman@summerwind.plamdale.org.
