Assessment Criteria Speaking and Listening AF 3 Levels:Level 5Level 6Level 7Level 8 AF3 Talking within role-play and drama: Create and sustain different roles and scenarios, adapting techniques in a range of dramatic activities to explore texts, ideas and issues. Show good understanding of texts or issues by carefully choosing different words, gestures and movement in drama and role-play Explore ideas and issues in drama, using a wide range of words, gestures and movements to show my understanding and empathy with characters Use a range of dramatic approaches with confidence to explore complex ideas and issues in role. Experiment with complex roles and scenarios to deepen my understanding of ideas and issues in a creative way

Success Criteria: Dramatic Adaptations! You MUST include the following: Your scene must be at least 2 minutes in length (max. of 5 mins). Every group member must participate equally. Your scene must suit the overall tone and purpose of the novel and you must use characters from the novel in your adaptation: using all their original names and character traits. You are allowed to change their fate and incorporate one new character of your choice. You should be sure to focus on sound effects that could be used to give dramatic effect to the action of the novel. What should we include from the marking criteria?
