Monday March 14,2016 In class 1.List the Corporal Works of Mercy with a short explanation of what they are. 10 pts. 2.List the Spiritual Works of Mercy with a short explanation of what they are. 10 pts. – On loose-leaf with a proper heading – List is in your text book – Handouts will be given – Will be collected Wednesday before Reconciliation, left on desk

3. Homework: Due Wednesday 3/16 3. Give an example of how a person your age could perform each of the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy (14 in total) 20 pts. – On loose-leaf with a proper heading – Write the name of the Work and next to it the suggestion of how it can be preformed Discussion in class Monday and Tuesday – Parts 1, 2 and 3 will be collected and left on the desk before Reconciliation on Wednesday 3/16. This part of the project constitutes 40% of the grade

4. Thursday 3/17 In Class 4. Bring in pictures depicting the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy that you were assigned. They will be assigned on Monday 3/14 10 pts. – Must be in class on Thursday 3/17, cut and ready to be put on a poster during class – Four (4) pictures for your corporal and four (4) pictures for your spiritual works. Total of 8 pictures

5. Thursday 3/17 in Class 5. Bring in words that could be used to make a poster for the Works of Mercy you have been assigned. The words could be cut from newspapers, magazine, from on line resources, or made. The point being that the lettering should be very neat and legible.10 pts. – Three examples on how to perform your corporal and spiritual works – Must be in class on Thursday 3/17, cut and ready to be put on a poster during class

6. Thursday and Friday In Class Posters will be finished by the end of the period on Friday 3/18 To be on display for Open House on Saturday 3/19 You will be assigned a partner on Thursday to create a poster on one of the Works, either Corporal or Spiritual. You will have the supplies that the students bring in and with your partner on Thursday discuss if any additional supplies are needed

7. Poster Rubric 40 % – Must include a Bold Title: your Work of Mercy – Pictures depiction that work: minimum of four (4) – Suggestions on how to live this work: minimum of three (3) Typed or very neatly printed – Names on the back of poster – Attractiveness of your poster
