Of 28 treated Women Less depression, mood disturbance Better QL and symptoms Billings - $221 less per woman in Rx group 24% reduction in comparison Total system saved: $6199 Subtract off cost of therapists at $100 – still cost reduction $70/patient Most distressed: billed $1079 in Rx group versus $1546 in the control group EDITOR = this is the reference to the cost savings in oncology
