(Eph 6:5-9) Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

Off to work we go!

Submitting yourselves one to another (Eph 5:21) Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

(Php 2:3) Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

(Eph 5:22-23) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. (Eph 6:1-2) Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) (Eph 6:5) Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh … (Eph 6:9) And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven…

I.The PRINCIPLES for the work place

A. The principle of contentment

(1Co 7:20-22) Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

(Php 4:11-13) Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

(1Ti 6:6-10) But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

A. The principle of contentment B.The principle of compliance

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh (Eph 6:5) Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (1Sa 15:22-23) …Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry…

A. The principle of contentment B.The principle of compliance C. The principle of commitment

with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ (Eph 6:5) Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

I.The PRINCIPLES for the work place II.The PRIORITIES for the work place

A. The priority is Christ

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; (Eph 6:6-7) Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

(1Co 10:31) Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

A. The priority is Christ B.The priority of compensation

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord (Eph 6:7-8) With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward (Pro 11:18) The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

good or bad (2Co 5:9-10) Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
