4 Benefits  Members reduce procurement cycle and costs  Because BuyBoard vendors have gone through the competitive bid process, the program meets state procurement requirements  No more RFPs  Procurement staff will not have to go through preparing specifications, advertising bids, reviewing proposals, awarding bids, and defending awards

6 Cooperative Overview  Coop is governed by an eleven member Board of Trustees (6 school, 3 city, and 2 county)  Currently represents over 4,500 entities, (city, county, school, public university/college, other local government agencies, non-profit agencies, private school/college) in 32 States.  Over 1,400 awarded vendors  27 general commodity groups that range from pencils to school buses and fire trucks

10 How to join the BuyBoard- What happens next? 1.Return the Interlocal agreement along with either a copy of the approved Board minutes or a Board Resolution to buyboard@nsba.org or david.ricketts@buyboard.combuyboard@nsba.orgdavid.ricketts@buyboard.com 2.Entoria Nicely from the NSBA will return the signed copy to you 3.Gina Montoya will then activate your group within the BuyBoard- a six digit number will be assigned and can be used by all; RFQ and Shopping rights alone are authorized through the assigned number 4.Dave Ricketts will assist in changing rights for the Group Administrator and initial PO Submitters 5.++++++ 5. Share the Vendors you know and love to do business with!
