When you work and you buy a home and run a family you never expect to be in a position where you can't pay the bills and every day is a struggle to carry on. Thank you Foodbank for all of the love and support shown my family.

4. www.trusselltrust.org When I walked into Foodbank, I was met with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. The volunteers introduced themselves and made me a coffee, I sat at a table with a plate of mince pies and biscuits and shared my story. This is the first time I was really listened to.

5. www.trusselltrust.org Getting the Voucher was something I didn't do lightly. It was hard to ask and then go to the foodbank but I wasn't made to feel a failure. Thank you

6. www.trusselltrust.org At a time when you need help and you feel low, you need people who are not judgemental and treat you with respect love and care and that is what I received when I went into Grantham Foodbank along with enough really nice food.

7. www.trusselltrust.org We are a family of 6, 1 adult and 5 children under the age 14. Last week my cooker blew up, it needed replacing, this left us with no money and no food and no way to cook. We contacted the local surestart centre and were provided with a voucher for the food bank. Thank you, we all ate well and with Foodbank directions we managed to get a second hand cooker.

8. www.trusselltrust.org We went straight away as we had heard how well we would be greeted. I received a cup of tea, my children were given a drink and home made cake. They also gave me flowers. I filled up.

9. www.trusselltrust.org I fed and bathed the children with the extra items I was given. Then put them to bed and then soaked in the bath myself and I started to feel better. Without the food bank we basically would have been living on nothing,

10. www.trusselltrust.org We were supplied with a vast amount of food which was basically a God send, at a vital time. The children had a very good evening meal with dessert.

11. www.trusselltrust.org I was in a very abusive relationship so my marriage failed. The foodbank supported me through this and eased the situation Thank you

12. www.trusselltrust.org No one can prepare you for a crisis like being made homeless. The foodbank helped me, not only with food they linked me into the right agencies to get my life started again..

13. www.trusselltrust.org They make you feel so welcome and at home, somewhere for you to just sit down and stop to talk like talking to a friend over a cup of tea and cake. Bless they even help entertain the children and gave us some food for our cat..

The team at the foodbank were very nice non-judgemental and very supportive! It was such a relief to be able to have one less thing to worry about when everything else was so all over the place!
