Surface is mostly mountainous, in the south and south-east there are plains, the plains are not very vast, but they are of extreme important for Slovak agriculture because of their fertile soils the biggest peak of Slovakia: Gerlach Peak (High Tatras) The High Tatras and the Low Tatras are our National Parks rich in forests and wild animals
