3. Nokia as the global leading company in mobile phone industry, which is trying to keep this position, is going green too! This year it invented the first eco friendly mobile phone Nokia 3110 evolve.

5. Nokia is taking the design of its Nokia 3110 Classic and make it greener. It has bio-covers made by 50% natural materials. It has also a new energy efficient charger and packaging made by 60% recycled material. Because this mobile phone is the only one green phone for now this allows Nokia to maintain comparably high price if we counting its features which are not what we expect for the price of 150 pounds.

6. It’s energy efficient charger also contributes for the higher price. Nokia claims that it uses 94% less energy than energy star requirements. This is advantage for this mobile phone because the use of less energy attract people to buy it which will lead to higher price.

7. The cover of Nokia 3110 evolve is made by 50% natural renewable materials which allows the mobile phone to be easy recycled. As the only one mobile phone possessing this advantage Nokia could afford to keep its price the same and higher than it would be if we are looking at its features.

9. The Comparison between Nokia 3110 Classic and Nokia 3110 evolve shows us that they are almost identical if we look at their qualifications. The only difference is that Nokia 3110 evolve has friendly-eco cover made by renewable materials for easier recycling and also energy efficient charger, which is missing in the Nokia 3110 Classic. In spite of the fact that the price of Nokia 3110 evolve is almost double which clearly proof our statement that because it is the only one green telephone on the market its allows Nokia to keep comparably higher price.

10. Nokia 3110 Evolve is not the perfect green mobile phone as it is not made 100% by renewable materials and doesn’t possess the qualifications of i-phones and touch screen phones but it’s a little step towards improving the environment. And for now Nokia should not be concerned about lowering its price as far as it is the only one green phone.
