General Information Before the modern nurses, nuns and the military often provided nurse-like services For many entry level registered nursing jobs, applicants need to have a diploma from a nursing program accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission However, most employers prefer applicants with an associates or bachelors degree

Estimated Salary The salary of a nurse is between $30,000-$80,000 a year This career will be relevant ten years from now because people are always getting sick

Timeline It will take at least two years of college or a nurse training program to get either your associates degree or certificate of completion

Appeal I want to pursue this career mainly because it’s what I've always wanted to do and I think it’ll be a great learning experience for me. It’ll be something I feel I’ll really enjoy.
