9 Traditional Role of Education The different states had their own independence with regard to education. The system was traditionally liberal with girls encouraged to progress. The arts were free and Germany produced some Europe’s greatest talents.

10 Nazi Policy Like many areas they simply took over the existing system and Nazified it for their own benefit. The system was obviously geared to the indoctrination of youth. Roles within the Third Reich were highlighted within the system.
