War and Victory Lexington and Concord- American “minutemen” fought a brief skirmish with British troops, ‘The Shot Heard Round the World’ Due to Benjamin Franklin’s negotiations and the American victory at Saratoga, the French agreed to join the war against Great Britain. I love the French... And electricity!

After 5 years of fighting, George Washington with help from the French, forced General Cornwallis to surrender at Yorktown The British government had grown tired of the war after the French joined. They agreed that Yorktown marked the end of the war. It was fun while it lasted ol’ chap. Shake-a-roo let’s call it a day.
