Who is usually affected by disease. Which is often accompanied by pain or general discomfort. Or 40,000 people in the U.S. are affected. Diabetes, Hypertension or high blood pressure, Trauma, Toxins and Infections.

Prognosis The prognosis for bell’s palsy is generally very good with or without treatment most patients begin to get significantly better within 2 weeks. About 80 percent recover completely within 3 months prognosis is the out come of bell’s palsy.

Nervous system Bell’s palsy strikes men and women equally, usually between the ages of 15 and 60. In 1821, he demonstrated that the facial nerve was a separate nerve. They are over 40.000 Americans each year.

Symptoms Palsy means weakness or paralysis in one side of your face that causes it to droop. Causes drooling, eye problems, loss of ability to taste. Pain in or behind your ear.

Named after…. Named after Scottish anatomist Charles bell. This condition comes on suddenly, often overnight, and usually gets better on its own within a few weeks.
