4. My Service  As a service-learning experience I participated in the Blazer Build which is also known as “Habitat for Humanity”. Everyone that worked on this house was a VSU athlete.

5. Service Explanation  In the Blazer Build my teammates helped a small group of construction workers build a home. We put up windows, doors, siding on the house, and shingles on the roof.

6. My Experience  After the community service experience I felt like I was a part of someone’s dream. My teammates and I participated in building a home for someone less fortunate.
