My Resources on Moodle
3
File Area Here you can add as many files of resources as you need for your lectures. upload different types of files (PDF, Word, PPT, etc) from an external source. The files can be “dragged and dropped” or uploaded.
4
Book Area This resource displays content in the form of an e-book, content, which can be organized in chapters and subchapters. The Book is not interactive, but may contain pictures or flash videos.
5
Folder Area Here you can add folders, which allow the teachers to group multiple files and folders in one place.
6
Page Area this resource can be used to display content that doesn’t have to be downloaded by the students, such as welcoming messages, introduction, terms of use, instructions, etc. Its advantage is that is more friendly to different types of devices and easier to use than a Word document for example, which students would have to download. The Page also allows the teachers to combine different kinds of content such as texts, pictures or audio files.
7
IMS Area IMS is a body which helps define technical standards for various things, including e- learning material.
8
Label Area Here you can add Labels on Moodle Resources, which help Teachers organize content neatly. It’s advantage is that it helps students identify easier the content they want to access.
9
URL Area Here you paste the ulrs from the websites of your corresponding resources. The advantage is that students can access the link and then return to Moodle.
