Despite a grim future for the old man he sets his sights further into the Gulf Stream to remedy his eighty-four day, fishless dry spell. Havana attracted both heavy trade and international tourism. Early in its settlement history, Havana became one of the most important ports for Spanish international trade. Havana attracted both heavy trade and international tourism.
