5. A. Listening: Filling in forms In many listening tasks, you have to listen and complete a form of some kind. To do this successfully, should remember the following points:

6. 1. Before you listen to the recording, study the form carefully to see what kind of information is missing. Then you will know exactly what to listen for in the recording. 2. The information you hear may be given in a different order form the way that it appears on the form.

7. 3. Take great care with the spelling of names and with addresses and phone numbers. Use capital letters at the beginning of names and place and for Road and Street. 4. Sometimes you may need to tick some boxes. Choose the right one (s), and do not tick all of them.
